I have worked in a federal prison for nine years providing substance abuse treatment and weekly maintenance sessions.

Contrary to many stereotypes, drug and alcohol users are not bad people; anyone can become addicted to drugs or alcohol under the right circumstances. I have found my clients to be interesting people and I have enjoyed working with them.
